ABOUT CIVIC LIGHTWORKS
Civic Lightworks is a grassroots startup founded in California by Mary Ann Kirby, a nonpartisan activist dedicated to serving as an independent voice for democracy and progress. It is organized as a California General Purpose Recipient Committee, FPPC ID# 1483541, with its headquarters in Sacramento. Civic Lightworks connects with communities statewide through live virtual sessions and in-person events held throughout California.
Civic Lightworks works to strengthen democracy by supporting and opposing candidates and ballot measures that shape freedom, fairness, and equal opportunity. We engage voters through education and outreach, and we promote transparency in the electoral process. Our efforts include making independent expenditures, mobilizing citizens, and fostering direct participation in elections.
We remain nonpartisan, guided by the conviction that liberty belongs to everyone—not only to the wealthy or powerful. Civic Lightworks is committed to ensuring that elections are conducted fairly and with integrity, and that every citizen has both the right and the opportunity to make their voice heard.
